Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. When you make a booking with Bli Bli Suites, you accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your confirmation documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies within 24 hours of your booking.

You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation. To stay at Motel Caloundra, a person under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Full payment is required before check-in together with a photo ID if requested.

Booking Policy

For exclusive hire and multiple room bookings (4 bedrooms or more), you must book directly via Bli Bli Suites and not through a third party. Any bookings booked via a third party will be cancelled and rebooked directly via Bli Bli Suites. For bookings of 4 bedrooms or more, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the final payment due 30 days before arrival.

Payment Policy

For all single room bookings, full payment is required 72 hours* (3 days) before arrival. If payment is not received by the due date, Bli Bil Suites reserves the right to cancel the booking. For exclusive hire and multiple room bookings (4 bedrooms or more), a 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the final payment due 30 days before arrival.

*During the Christmas period, 20 December-5 January, full payment is required 14 days before arrival.

We accept Visa and Mastercard and these cards incur a surcharge of 1.95% for each transaction. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars, per room, per night, and include GST. Direct bank transfers are also accepted before arrival for payments. Please note funds must be cleared and in our account 3 days before your stay.

Cancellation Policy

For single bookings, the full tariff is required 72 hours* (3 days) before arrival. If you cancel your booking 72 hours* (3 days) or more before your scheduled arrival, there will be no charge. If cancelled or modified 0-72 hours (0-3 days) before arrival, the full tariff is non-refundable. For exclusive hire and multiple room bookings (4 bedrooms or more), a non-refundable deposit is taken at the time of booking. The final 75% non-refundable payment is due 30 days before arrival.

*During the Christmas period, 20 December-5 January, if you cancel your booking 14 days or more before your scheduled arrival, there will be no charge.

Cancellation during Covid 19 Epidemic

If government restrictions are placed on domestic travel due to the impact of Covid-19, we will provide a free change of date to your booking or provide a voucher for the full value of your booking. All other cancellations will be subject to our normal cancellation policy. Bookings made via a third party or online travel agent ie. Booking.com, Expedia etc will incur additional charges due to commissions payable.

Check-In & Check-Out

The standard check-in time is 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm on the day of arrival and the room is to be vacated by 10:00 am on the day of departure. Early arrivals and late check-outs are at the discretion of Management and must be requested at the time of booking. A fee may apply.

Security Deposit

A security bond of $200 is required via a valid credit card at time of check-in. Your credit card will only be debited in the event of: not adhering to the terms and conditions, damage to the property, equipment, breakages or if extra cleaning is required.

For exclusive hire and multiple rooms bookings (4 bedrooms or more), a security bond of $500 will be required via a valid credit card prior to check-in. Your credit card will be only be debited in the event of: not adhering to the terms and conditions, damage to the property, equipment, breakages or if extra cleaning is required.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited on site and inside any rooms. If there is any evidence of smoking inside rooms, you will be charged an additional $500 for a specialised clean to eliminate odours.

Children

Bli Bli Suites considers children to be between 0 and 17 years old. Please note children must never be left unattended in rooms and must always be supervised by a responsible adult. Please take extra care with children around cars pulling in and out of the property.

Additional Beds

Infants 0-2 years old can stay at no additional charge if they are in their own cot or using existing bedding only. We have one travel cot which can be supplied for $40 per night.

If you require additional sheets, these are charged at $10 per sheet per night.

Pets

No pets are permitted.

Personal Belongings

You acknowledge that we do not cover your personal belongings under our insurance policy and, therefore take no responsibility for any loss or damage of the occupant’s personal property left on the premises and agree that you will not make any claim against us for any damages or loss to your personal belongings regardless of how or where the loss or damage occurred.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. We suggest that the policy should include, but not be limited to, the reimbursement of any monies paid in the event the travel is cancelled, loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money and medical expenses.

Behaviour

Parties or gatherings are strictly prohibited unless prior arrangements have been made with Management. Disturbance to other guests and neighbours, including excessive noise and music, is prohibited and may result in eviction without a refund. If a noise complaint is received a first warning will be given, if a second complaint is received, this will result in immediate eviction with no refund.

All music and noise must be turned down by 8 pm and shut off by 10 pm. We are in a residential area and would ask that you respect our neighbours at all times.

Breakages and Damages

Damages or breakages of furniture or furnishings must be reported to Management immediately. Breakages or damages to the property and all communal or external areas that are caused by any guest and/or a guest’s visitor will be charged and recouped in full from the guest’s credit card or deducted from the guest’s refundable deposit. Excess cleaning required on departure or replacement of items removed from the accommodation will be charged to the guest’s credit card. Furniture, fixtures and fittings are not to be altered or moved between rooms or properties. There will be a charge incurred if the furniture is moved or found in a new location.

Liabilities

You acknowledge that we do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses, and disruptions due to electrical storms or other acts of God caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control and agree not to make any claim in relation thereto.

Changes Beyond Our Control

Compensation will not apply if a significant change is made for reasons beyond our control. These include: war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks, changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type; closed or congested airports or ports, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, act of government or public authorities or other circumstances amounting to force majeure and/or Acts of God.

Breach of Terms and Conditions

You agree that should you or your guests breach any of the terms and conditions:

You will pay us the total loss or damage that we suffer as a result of that breach and hereby authorise us to debit your credit card or apply your refundable deposit in payment of that loss or damage, and we may evict you and your guests without notice.

 

Confirming your booking with Bli Bli Suites constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
